The fibres intertwine with each other, creating a naturally woven, robust, tapestry. This innovation demonstrates how new materials can be designed using natural methods and living organisms.
This piece can be suspended from the ceiling with monofilament to fasten invisibly from above, allowing it to ‘float’ as if underwater. Hooks and filament are supplied.

Care
Root textile is a natural fibre and, like a straw hat or a linen cloth, will last for many years if kept from the elements.
Any settled dust can be removed using a vacuum on a low suction setting or dusted with a soft brush.
