Delivery & Policies

Delivery:
Orders are processed within 1-2 weeks and are dispatched from the United Kingdom.
International orders are shipped via DHL Express and the price is calculated at checkout with duty and customs charges included.

Returns & Exchanges:
If you would like to make a return, we are happy to provide a full refund or exchange for goods in their original packing and a fully re-saleable condition. This applies if you’re unsatisfied with the product, or if you’ve simply changed your mind.
To make a return please notify us by email within 14 days and return the goods within 30 days. Regretfully, exchanges or refunds are not permitted if the Goods have been specially made to order or altered for Customer requirements.

Caring for your root product:
Root textile is a natural fibre and, like a straw hat or a linen cloth, it will last for many years if kept from the elements.
Any settled dust can be removed using a vacuum on a low suction setting or dusted with a soft brush.
Naturally dyed tones may shift slightly if left in bright sunshine for long periods. Please keep all coloured root dry to prevent any colour transference.

Sustainability
The joy of working with root is that the material is 100% organic and fully compostable.

It is grown to meet the function of the object and no two pieces ever grow exactly the same.  Sustainability is at the heart of the process, using local ingredients and water run-off. There are no harmful pollutants and any leftover shoot or seed is used as animal fodder.

Occasionally the root is mounted on steel wire to make it more functional.  Both the steel and the electrical parts are designed to be easily dismantled at the end of life and reused, recycled or repurposed.
